Blades lose big on the road

It was an ugly night in Red Deer last night as the Blades lost 7-1.

Things were fine through 20 minutes as the teams were scoreless, but just 17 seconds into the 2nd the Rebels got on the board. The Blades would tie it at one before the Rebels would score 6 in a row.

Andrej Kudrna led the way offensively with 3 goals and an assist.

Blades goalie Adam Morrison was pulled after allowing 4 goals on 28 shots as goalie Steven Stanford is out with a concussion.

The Blades are playing in Calgary this afternoon.
