Blades call up 2 players

The Saskatoon Blades made a much-expected roster move today calling up two players to fill in for players away at international tournaments.

15 year old Tim McGauley and 16 year old Hudson Morrison are now with the team.

The move was made necessary because Curtis Hamilton is still away at the World Junior Hockey Championships and Levi Bews and Ryan Olsen are away at the World Under 17 Championships in Manitoba.

McGauley was the Blades first round pick in the bantam draft of 2010. He has been playing with the Regina Pat Canadians Midget AAA team this year. So far in 28 games he has 6 goals and 6 assists.

Morrison was a 9th round bantam pick in 2009. He has been playing this year with the Southwest Cougars of the Manaitoba Midget AAA Hockey League. In 23 games he has 15 goals and 7 assists.

The two will be in the lineup tomorrow night as the Team Heads to Prince Albert to take on the Raiders.
