Blades jump up a spot to 3rd best in the country

The new CHL ranking list came out yesterday, and the Blades have moved up a spot to 3rd overall.

Last week they were ranked 4th.

They have a record now of 32-9-0-2 on the year.

There are two other WHL teams on the list. Portland is 7th and Kootenay is 9th.

The only two teams ahead of the Blades are the Saint John Sea Dogs who are 34-5-0-2 on the season. The Memorial Cup host Mississauga St. Michael's Majors are 2nd overall with a record of 30-7-0-1.

So the Blades are the 3rd best country as it stands right now. How will that change when they add (arguably) the best player in all of junior hockey to their lineup in Brayden Schenn?

It should be fun to find out.
