Canada knocks off Switzerland to get to the US

Team Canada moved on at the World Juniors with a 4-1 win over Team Switzerland yesterday afternoon.

Canada got goals from Louis Leblanc, Casey Cizikas, Ryan Johansen and an empty netter from Zack Kassian. The Swiss got on the board early in the game off a goal by Inti Pestoni.

Benjamin Conz was a huge story in the game, keeping his team in it as Canada threw 50 shots on goal. Conz made 47 saves. Mark Visentin got the start ahead of Olivier Roy for Canada in goal. He made 21 saves to get the win.

Now, Canada has a chance at redemption as they will now take on the USA. It's obviously a rematch of last year's Gold medal game in Saskatoon, that the USA won.

The winner of tonight's game will take on the winner of Sweden-Russia for Gold.

The game tonight goes at 6 PM on TSN.
