Spokane Chiefs forward Tyler Johnson has signed on with the NHL's Tampa Bay Lightning.
After nearly a week of speculation, the 5'9 forward from Spokane, Washington agreed to a 3 year entry level deal.
Johnson currently has 48 goals, 2nd in the league. His 58 assists are ranked 4th in the league. His point total of 106 has him ranked 2nd overall in the league.
He also won a gold medal at the 2010 World Junior Hockey Championships with Team USA in Saskatoon.
