Blades End Regular Season as CHL's 2nd Ranked Team

Not much change in the CHL rankings this past week.

The Saskatoon Blades finished up number 2 in the rankings with a 56-13-1-2 record. Once again they trailed the Saint John Sea Dogs, who lost 7 regulation games all year. None of those regulation losses came on home ice. Truly amazing.

The Red Deer Rebels stayed steady at 5th in the CHL. Portland was 7th. Both the Spokane Chiefs and Medicine Hat Tigers were honourable mentions.

In other WHL news, Tigers goalie Deven Dubyk was named as the CHL's goalie of the week. He went 2-0 with 2 shutouts.

Stayed tuned as I will have my next Eastern Conference playoff preview up shortly. It features the Red Deer Rebels against the Edmonton Oil Kings.
