10 WHL players will take part in this year's CHL Top Prospects Game in Kelowna. The game will take place on February 1st, 2012. A 3 on 3 game and skills challenge will take place the day before.

It's nice to see 10 guys from the WHL taking part. Surprisingly there are 5 defenceman and 5 forwards from the WHL, even though the strength of the WHL crop is clearly on the blueline. I would've liked to have seen Dalton Thrower there, but both team's bluelines are pretty crowded.
I always look forward to this event to see how the top draft eligible players react against the top competition in Canada. With that being said, the casual prospect follower tends to put WAY too much stock into this game as a whole.
